This research project involves the observation of novice programmers in a controlled OBS envioronment. Dr. Edward Jones, the preceptor of this project, is the chairman of the Computer Information Sciences Department at Florida A&M University.

This observational study is funded by the Florida-Georgia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, commonly known as the FGLSAMP program. The project has been divided into three categories, with a team member being primarily responsible for one specific category. The team members are senior CIS majors at Florida A&M University, Shameka Ottman and Lovo Baysah.
